Are you serving as a witness for your best friend? Whether you’re doing it alone or with a group, do you have the delicate task of planning their bachelorette party or bachelor party?

But trying to balance making him happy with keeping the other participants satisfied can quickly turn into a real headache!

Your friend should be the center of attention; the event should revolve around what he or she wants. Keep this in mind; it will help you stay focused. He or she needs to have fun. If they’re a private person, they probably won’t appreciate being dressed up and having to walk around among strangers! If, on the other hand, they’re athletic, lounging all day on a deck chair by the pool won’t be their thing!

The key word is CUSTOMIZATION!

Bachelorette Parties & Bachelor Parties - Drôme

Here are a few tips from me:

  • Bachelorette Party DROMEAsk the bride or groom-to-be to make a list of the people they’d like to invite.
  • Work with him or her to set a date that works for them and decide on the duration (one evening, one day, two days, etc.).
  • Choose a location that is easily accessible to everyone.
  • Among the bridesmaids, make a list of activity ideas that the bride or groom would enjoy: relaxing, athletic, thrilling, entertaining…
  • Make a rough schedule. Be careful not to overbook it—the idea is to spend quality time together, not just rush from one activity to the next. Keep in mind that the more people there are, the longer everything takes.
  • Draw up a comprehensive budget that includes all costs: lodging if necessary, meals, travel expenses, purchases of accessories, etc.
  • Divide this cost among all the guests (it is customary for the bride or groom-to-be not to contribute financially).

  • Only then should you share the overall schedule and cost with all participants. This will make it easier for the other guests to give their approval once they are aware of all the details.
  • Once everyone has confirmed, you can make the necessary reservations.
  • All that's left is to finalize the program and send it to all the participants.

The more you prepare in advance, the smoother the event will go. As the organizer, you’ll feel more at ease and will be able to enjoy the festivities too!

My little extra:

This moment should bring everyone together around the bride or groom-to-be, strengthen bonds, and create a real sense of unity that will carry over to the wedding day. To achieve this, there’s nothing better than incorporating elements that foster connection: personalized T-shirts, a color scheme for outfits, accessories, team-building activities… let your imagination run wild!

If you're short on time or ideas, or if you'd like to entrust this delicate task to someone else, I'd be happy to help you plan a customized bachelorette or bachelor party, whether in Drôme or elsewhere!
