The Roaring Twenties style—synonymous with freedom, lavish parties, and a unique aesthetic—is winning over more and more couples planning their weddings. This theme is perfect if you like:
vintage and sophisticated atmospheres;
fringed and beaded dresses fit for the most glamorous Gatsby-style parties;
decor with gold accents, accented with feathers and pearls.
And what better setting than the Drôme Provençale, with its unspoiled landscapes and charming towns, to serve as the backdrop for this glamorous era?
- The venue: a guesthouse with Provençal charm
For this photo shoot, we chose a beautiful bed-and-breakfast nestled in the Drôme region. With its exposed stone walls, lush greenery, and antique furnishings, it offered an authentic and warm setting, perfect for recreating the atmosphere of a 1920s-style event. The soft light and olive trees added a romantic touch typical of Provence, ideal for an elegant and convivial wedding.

For the set design, the idea was to blend elegance with authenticity. Here are the key elements we used:
The color palette: gold, off-white, and touches of green.
The tables: beige tablecloths, antique tableware, and engraved glasses, a string of pearls, gilded frames, and the timeless sugared almonds.
The centerpiece: white and peach floral arrangements with foliage, accented with feathers and gold candlesticks.
The accessories: a typewriter, a wooden chest, a crystal box, and a crystal bowl.
Stationery: a delicate harmony of fine paper, cut lace, and vintage typography
- The bride and groom's outfits
As for the bride, her dress was flowing, adorned with pearls and lace. Her glamorous makeup and expertly styled hair evoked the charm of days gone by, enhanced by a feather-and-rhinestone hairpiece.
The groom wore a green suit that blended modernity with an irresistible vintage style, accessorized with a tie and a floral boutonnière.
